We have just received the some great all-weather shoes from New Balance. The MO10 & WO10 are built on the same last as the New Balance minimus trail shoe (MT10 & WT10) with a vibram outsole and a 4 mm heel to toe drop. But this shoe comes with a weather resistant upper that will keep you warmer and drier as the temperature drops.
The MT110wr & WT110wr are the next step up in an all-weather shoe. It features a weather-resistant upper that zips up over the ankle to keep debris, moisture & cold out! It also offers forefoot protection from sharp rocks with RockStop while still maintaining the minimus light and low platform.
Two great shoes to keep you running all year round.
Come down and check them out!

Efforts are being made in order to raise funds for Tracy Kirkland, who was rushed to the hospital last week only moments before boarding a plane that was to take her to San Francisco where she planned to run the Women’s Nike Marathon.
She is currently in the ICU, fighting for her life. In order to assist in her recovery, the Tracy Kirkland Family Fun Run/Walk will be held November 10th, 2012. The cost will be $10 per person, and all proceeds will go to the Tracey Kirkland Recovery Fund.
We are happy to announce that we are tentatively planning another bus trip to the Peterborough Half-Marathon on Sunday, February 24, 2013. We are looking for at least 20 runners interested in participating. Runners’ Choice will be subsidizing half of the cost of the bus; so the cost for each runner will be about $20, excluding race fees. We are renting a coach bus, so the ride will be a comfortable one, featuring televisions, bathroom, etc.
The YMCA half-marathon is a well-organized event that features a marvelous course. This is a great opportunity for those looking to compete in a half-marathon out of town but want to forgo the hassle of having to drive to the event.
