If you’ve been in the New Balance 1063 or 1064, here’s your upgrade. This is truly a premium cushion shoe. I don’t think I’ve ever described a running shoe as decadent, but this pair could change that. You need to try it on.

Shoe Wall: New Balance 890

It’s taken a few years, but New Balance has finally introduced a neutral lightweight trainer back into their line. It looks like it might have been worth the wait, too. The new 890, featuring a REVLite midsole, boasts a curb weight of only 7.65 ounces (9.7 ounces for a men’s size 9.5).
